Level 1 · Build & Imagine

Where every engineer begins — with their hands.

Children in Grade 2 to 4 are natural builders. They don't need to understand equations yet — they need to feel what balance, structure, and design mean in the real world. That's exactly what Level 1 gives them.

Ages 7–10

Same models. Now they move — and so does the thinking.

Grade 5 to 7 students take everything they built in Level 1 and add motors, gears, and their first lines of code. The moment a child programs a machine to move for the first time, something changes in how they see the world.

The world is full of signals. Now we'll read them.

Grade 8 and 9 students enter the world of sensors — machines that can see, feel, and react. This is the level where students start participating in real competitions and thinking like junior engineers.

Our Story

Why NX Maker Hub exists.

A frustration turned into a mission — to build the quality engineers that our education system has been failing to produce.

The Beginning

It started with a question no one was asking.

India produces hundreds of thousands of engineering graduates every year. And yet, ask any industry professional — from manufacturing to software to civil construction — and they'll tell you the same thing: finding a quality engineer is genuinely hard.

This was the frustration that started NX Maker Hub. Not an abstract frustration, but a real, observed one — watching brilliant, hardworking students come out of four-year engineering programs unable to solve practical problems. Not because they weren't smart. Not because they didn't work hard. But because their foundation was built on marks, not on meaning.

They had memorised Pi as 3.14 for twelve years without ever asking why. They had solved hundreds of circuit problems without ever holding a live wire. They had designed buildings on paper without ever holding two bricks together and feeling why one arrangement is stronger than another.

The problem wasn't engineering college. The problem was everything that came before it.

The Pi Philosophy

Here is a simple test: ask any engineering graduate — or any school student — why Pi is 3.14159 and not some other number. Ask where Pi appears in their daily life. Ask why the same constant that describes a circle also appears in wave equations, Fourier transforms, and quantum mechanics.

Almost no one will know. And yet they have used Pi in every exam since Grade 5.

This is the problem NX Maker Hub was built to solve. Not just for Pi — but for every formula, every constant, every equation that students use without understanding. We believe that when a child understands why a formula exists, they own it forever. It becomes intuition, not just a memorised string of symbols.
